What can I use this site for?

As a shelter owner or worker, you can use Pawland to manage your habitants, needs, posts, events and adoption requests. You can also make your shelter public to be visible to other users and volunteers.

As a user, you can search for the shelters nearby, help them with their needs or adopt a fluffy friend.

Can I find a new pet here?

Absolutely! Check our Shelters page, explore the shelters nearby with useful filters. After you find a pet of your dream, send an adoption request and wait for the response from the shelter.

How can I help the shelters on this platform?

You can check the list of needs on a shelter’s page and follow the instructions on how to help. It may be a bank transfer to the shelter's account or a delivery of something to the shelter.

Can I trust the information that shelters post here?

From our side we do everything to complete a basic verification of the shelters. But at the moment we cannot guarantee that the information they post on Pawland is trustful. Please pay your attention and double check it. In case of any problems, use the report button on the shelter’s page to notify us about any inappropriate behaviour or activities.

Can I register my shelter here for free?

Of course! We welcome all of the shelters around the globe. To register, you need to login into the system and open My Portal page from the top menu. We’ll verify every shelter you add before you can start using it. When you create a new shelter, please provide as much information as you can to let us make sure you are real.

How can I benefit as a shelter here?

The Portal is made to facilitate your everyday chores. You can manage your shelter needs, habitants, posts, events and adoption requests. Moreover, our search makes your shelter globally visible and attracts potential donors and volunteers.

Are there any limitations for the shelters?

There are some at the moment. Since we are a volunteer project without sponsors, we have some financial and technical limitations. For example, one user can be a part of three shelters at max, each shelter can have no more than 100 habitants etc.

Is the platform going to be improved with new features?

Yes, we are continuously working on improvements and new features. Not only will you benefit from them, but also you can play an important part in it and suggest new features via e-mail or feedback form!
